Madonna, neighbor end feud, Madonna, 53, and her New York neighbor. Madonna has made at least one enemy since moving back to the US. The veteran singer’s neighbor, Karen George, is suing the company which manages their New York apartment building. According to George, the management did nothing to force Madonna to stop using her apartment as a rehearsal studio. Madonna and ‘guests’ would dance, rehearse, and train so loudly that “noise and vibration poured through the walls.” She was rehearsing for her world tour – and obviously didn’t care if the neighbors were unhappy. Even when residents tried to be accommodating and asked for her schedule so they could fit around her, Madonna did not bother to honor the timetable. “The music is playing at all hours of the night, and the noise from the drums and the bass blares through the walls,” said one source. The managers of the apartment block say they have already threatened Madonna with eviction if she doesn’t curb the noise.
